About:Nanjing Travel

Travel from Shanghai Pudong to Nanjing Central Hotel

Attending the Youth Olympic Games 2014 and flying to Shanghai Pudong. We arrive at 10.05 on the 20th of august and need to get to our hotel NJ Central Hotel as soon as possible. How is the best way to travel? From the hotel we need to get to the handball area Jiangning Sports Centre Gymnasium and be there latest at 17.30 the same day, whats the best way to travel?

I am also wondering if there are any museums or attractions that we need to see in the area we stay?
Are there any good shopping near the hotel/sports center?
Good restaurants?

Upon reaching Pudong, you can take the airport shuttle bus line 5 to Shanghai Railway Station. Then go to the NJ Railway Station. Get out of the railway station, you can use the local subway line 1 to Xinjiekou Station. Get out of the station from Exit 6 and walk along the Zhongshan Road to your hotel.
After that, you need to go back to Xinjiekou Station to take the subway line 1 to NJ Communications Institute of Technology Station. Then get out of the station from Exit 2 and walk along the Gezhi Road to the Jiangning Sports Center.

You live in Xinjiekou area, which is the local paradise for shopping. For sightseeing, the NJ Musuem, Qinhuai River, Xuyuan Garden, etc are suggested to have a look.
