About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can I travel without a visa for 10 days

I am flying form London to Vienna and then onwards to Beijing. I am only pausing in Vienna for a few hours. Then i am travelling from Beijing to London on the return leg. I have a UK passport. Does this qualify for TWOV?

Yes, if your entire itinerary, with all stops en route is exactly London - Vienna - Beijing - London, your itinerary is definitely eligible for 240 hour visa free transit and you do not need any kind of visa. The basic rule of 240 hour visa free transit scheme clearly requires that immediate points before and after a mainland China visit have to be in two different countries or eligible territories (eligible territories are Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau).
