About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Does this qualify for the 240 hour visa free travel?

We are US passport holders travling from Dallas into Shanghai arriving on September 14th. We will take the highspeed train to Beijing on Seetember 18th. We will then fly to Hong Kong on the 20th, before flying back to the US on the 24th.

Yes, your itinerary is definitely eligible for 240 hour visa free transit, but you should take care that your flight from Dallas to Shanghai does not have a landing (layover of any kind) in Hong Kong because you will fly out to Hong Kong after your stay in mainland China. Have a nice visit to China.
