best way to get from hong kong to xiamen via high speed

Hi there,I am looking for the best way to travel from HK to Xiamen via high speed. From my research, I don't think you can go directly from HK to Xiamen, but do you know if it's possible to get a high speed from HK to Shenzhen and change? Or is MTR the only option from HK to Shenzhen?Thank you. :)

Yes, you made an excellent search. It is easy to reach Xiamen by high speed train via Shenzhen. I suggest you take HK East Rail line to Lok Ma Chau. Then cross the Futian border to walk into Shenzhen. Then at Futian Border metro station, take local Longhua line to Shenzhen North Train Station. There you  can catch a high speed train to your destination within 3h and 50min.
