plan to visit xiamen china for tourist reason

hello! my mother and I have plan to visit Xiamen, China for 8 days as L visa I am only have the bank cert and all the requirement since my mom do'nt have work I purchase our hotel and air fare ticket and it all set, but i am wondering if the china embassy will allow us to apply successfully. hope you could give me advice for this. this trip i made for my mother birthday surprise.thank you!

Honie, it won't be a problem if your money in your account can burden two persons' cost in China. And you may write a letter of explanation that you will burden your mother's cost.
