I like a water monkey. Is there any chance for us to have a relationship?

Hi! I was born in July 14, 1994. Im a wood dog and i like a male water monkey (June 16, 1992). I see him everyday in college and we always have small talk but he always offers to help me study. He's a very nice Guy and calls me sweet (am i being friendzoned). Is there any chance something can happen between us? I really like him though.
