Can you buy the ticket for beijing airport shuttle bus on the actual bus?

I'm travelling from BJ railway station to the capital airport, and I've never been there before. I feel like I might get lost and not know where to find the shuttle at the railway station or pay for it.
In Shanghai you can pay for the shuttle ticket on the bus itself.
