About:Beijing Capital International Airport

domestic flight...connecting with an international flight

I have a flight from Chengdu to Beijing that arrives at 9 and I have an international flight from beijing to SFO that I need to catch at 12. The tickets were not booked together and so I'm worry about my luggage and also about getting to my connecting flight. Can someone give guidance on what I can do. Can I have chengdu check in help me to connect my international connection so that my luggage will transfer automatically? Is there an express lane internally since I've already been checked in?

I heard it is ok. Just consult your airlines for domectic flight about the luggage check-through service. Good luck!

I have had checked bags from US through BJ to my next flight to Mongolia. Even though my bags were checked all the way to Mongolia... I had to claim them in BJ, get them security checked and re check them. Good thing I checked the luggage claim area.
