I am a female dog 02/02/82 and he is a monkey 28/02/80, new relationship. is it worth pursuing?

I've recently started dating a male monkey and I am a female dog, I've read that they have the tendency to become bored very easily or tempted to cheat, is it worth putting my heart on the line here or should I just walk away?
