About:Beijing Travel

i'd like to visit lama temple & beihai park in Beijing in the same day. is it possible ?

can you explain the best way to have lama temple & beihai by MRT in same day ? how to combine those places ? which one 1st to follow ? pls tell me the exit should be followed in MRT station ? how long the journey for both of them ?

Yes, it is possible to cover the Lama Temple and Beihai Park in a day. The sequence to visit them two depends on your accommodation in the city. Anyway, to Lama Temple, local subway line 2 or line 5 can take you there directly. Get out from exit C and you can walk southwards for around 100m to reach then.

To Beihai Park, metro line 6 can take you to Beihai North Station, which is within walking distance to the North Gate of the park. Oh, and you should get out from exit B.

To travel from the temple to the park, you can take subway line 5 at Lama Temple Station to Dongsi, where transfer to line 6 to Beihai North Station.

Generally, it is suggested to spend two to three hours in Beihai Park. To visit Lama Temple, it requires 1.5-2, at most.
