About:Beijing Capital Airport T3

we are connecting in Beijing to Bangkok

We have a 3 hour layover then off to Bangkok. Do we need to pick up our checked luggage or do any paperwork?

As I know, if you hold the connecting flight boarding pass, no need to pick up your luggage and recheck it in, but you have to go through the immigration.
