Is it a good time to go in December to Taiwan?

Hi, am thinking of going to that island on 9 Dec for 10 days with young children, 4 and 7 years old. Will it be too cold or is it raining nearly every day?

The average temperature is around 15 to 20C in December.
It is not so cold, but it is wet and most days are cloudy. It may rain almost everyday.
