About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Itinerary Check and Travel Restrictions

Hi,

Would I be respecting the rules if I'm flying into Beijing from Korea, and out from Beijing to Hong Kong on British passport within 72 hours?

Also, if I'd like to go visit the section of the Great Wall near Beijing during my 72 hours of transit, would that fall within the limits of "not leaving the transit city"?

One more question: If I understand correctly, since I'll be arriving at Beijing Capital Airport, I do not need to prepare any documents or advise the airline in advance - I only need to have my passport and confirmed outbound ticket, and present them upon my arrival at the Beijing airport?

Yes, you are right. And it is ok for you to visit Great Wall during the stopover in Beijing.
