U.S. Military in South Korea wanting to Tour Beijing

I am in the U.S. military (U.S. citizen) currently assigned to Seoul, South Korea. I would like to travel to Beijing as a tourist. Can I obtain my PRC tourist visa from the PRC embassy in Seoul? If so, what documentation do I need to provide when I apply at the PRC embassy?

For tourism, round-trip ticket and hotel booking are required. And also you should provide your ARC valid for more than 6 months in Korea if you want to apply from Seoul. Please contact a local travel agency to handle your application.
