Hi, My wife is Chinese and lives with me in Australia. We plan to visit her home town and relatives often but I am being asked to have her relatives in China write an invitation and send copies of both sides of their id card. They live in a more remote area and do not have computers. Would it be easier to get a tourist visa for the month?Mick

If you apply for a tourist L, flight ticket and hotel bookings are required for application. I think you may use an invitation letter issued by your wife and copies of her ID instead.
