Transit for 19h stop over in Guanzhou airport

Hi, we will be travelling from Hanoi to London and have a stop over in Guangzhou airport for 19 hours. I have a Vietnamese passport and a UK permanent residency. Can I get out of the airport with a Transit without visa, since we want to stay in hotel outside the airport and visit the city quickly in the evening?

Kind regards,

Cam

Well, you need to apply for the stay permit if you want to leave the airport. It can be obtained when you arrive.
