Do I need a visa if I have a continuing flight from Chongqing but I need to exit immigration?

I have a continuing flight with Airasia (flying in from Helsinki with Finnair), separately book, I need to exit immigration just to claim baggage and check back in, the change time is 3 hours there and 15 hours coming back. Do I need a transit visa or is it enough to present the tickets of the next destination?

Since you do not get out of the airport, the visa is not needed.
