I am an Australian passport holder and would like to travel to LA, USA from Dhaka.
I have already purchased a ticket of China Eastern. My route is Dhaka-Kunming-Shanghai-LA-Shanghai-Kunming-Dhaka. I am flying on 11th Oct from Dhaka and reach Shanghai on 11th midnight(2350 hours). I will stay in Shanghai on 12th & 13th and then fly to LA on 14th morning. On my return, I have a stop over in Kunming for 12 hours and the airlines is providing me hotel voucher as I will be arriving on 23rd Oct midnight and my flight to Dhaka in next day, 24th morning. Should I need to obtain visa? If yes, then what type? Will it be for transit or visit(tourist)L? Please let me know.
