About:Beijing Travel

I am travelling to Beijing mid to late march 2014. I know that it will be cold, I will be prepared.

I read that after 15 march heating is turned off. Does this apply to hotels? As I hate the cold (coming from a warm climate) I am concerned that there will be no heating in the hotels. Is this true ?
