About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

18 hour layover - Transit Visa via Guangzhou airport

Hi,
I plan to travel to New Zealand (from New Delhi - holding an Indian Passport) via Baiyun airport in Dec 2013 and have a 18 hour layover.
Is there any way I can check-in into the airport hotel (Pullman) without requiring a transit visa?

Since the hotel is outside the terminal, so you may need to get out of the airport. Thus, the visa is needed and there is no other methods.

I think its from July this year. So should have started by now! Or shall in the next one week.

It's reported to start the new policy since this July, but it has not been officially put into used yet.
