Documents required for a South Korean Citizen living in USA

What documents does a South Korean Citizen currently living in the state of Michigan, USA need to travel to China? Her husband is working and living there for 3 years. He is a US citizen but she is not. She would like to visit him for 1 month. Also, where does she obtain the documents and does this have to be in person? Thank you.

Hi, the original and a photocopy of certificates for permit for residence, work, study or valid US visa, or the proof of residency in US (e.g. ID, tenancy agreement, electricity or water bills etc. ) are required for application from the consular office of the consulate in Chicago. This can be done by someone else or a travel agency entrusted.
