About:China Visa Application in USA

Clarification Re: documents needed to apply in person at Embassy Visa Office in Washington DC

Hello Mr./Ms. Representative:
This is for US citizen (thru Naturalization) applying a China tourist visa (L type) visiting 2 cities: 1 city to stay in hotel. 1 city to stay with relative's relative. Kindly ask for your assistance:
(1) your site indicates starting 1/1/24, relative invitation letter, hotel/air ticket reservation not required. still true now?
(2) Will submit driver license and passport. Having US passport within more than 1Year left. Do you still need US certificate of naturalization? Do you also need I-94 form?

Hi, Anh,
(1) It’s true now.
(2) US certificate of naturalization and Arrival and Departure Record (I-94 form in the US) are not required for China’s visa application. For needed documents: https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa/introduction.htm.
