Apply for a short term tourist visa for PRC in Singapore for Dutch citizens

Hi, I am on a tourist visa here. I want to continue travelling, and visit Beijing, Shanghai and Hongkong by plane. This is just flying between the cities, and all together I do not plan to be more than 15 days in PRC.
-Is it possible for me to apply for a L in Singapore at the Chinese embassy to visit Beijing and Shanghai?
- How long before the actual trip is scheduled should I do this?
- Furthermore, could you explain requirement 4 in the L requirement?

Thank you.

Hi, the requirement 4 means you have to be on a long term pass for Singapore if you want to apply there. Otherwise, the embassy will not accept your application. In your situation, I advise to get this done in HK through the Commissioner's Office of the Ministry of China Foreign Affairs.

Hi Neil, Thanks for your reply.
So there is no way to get a tourist L for PRC in Singapore? This has to be done in HK. How long would that take? Like do I apply for it in my first day there, and then pick it up the fourth day for instance?

Yes, you can try to contact the embassy (Tel: 65-64712117) or the CVASC (Tel: 65-62262358, 62262439) for this. The office in HK provides expedited service for processing. Rush service takes 2 working days as I know.
