About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Are the restrictions on what you can do in Beijing for the 72 hours

I am flying from Singapore to Sydney with a 48 hour stop over in Beijing and wanted to know if it is a problem to go an visit a client in the time I am in Beijing?

The site suggests I would have to report to a police station within 24 hours how does that work?

Don't worry, if you will stay in a hotel, a registration with the hotel is enough. They will handle this on your behalf to the police station.
