I don't understand what you mean by invitation letter for application.

I will be flying out to Hong Kong in May on vacation to visit my cousin. He is currently out of the country. Do I need to wait until he is back in Hong Kong to get an invitation letter or will his name, address, phone, etc. be enough information for the Visa application.
