10 day beijing tour in december

Question

I'm from Malaysia with 2 parent and 3 kids  and to visit BJ in December for 10 days. Can you advise: 1. Place/Area to stay. 2. Is there any train to Harbin as i will visit this place within my 10 day stay in the city.

Hi, I suggest you stay in Dongcheng District. It is better to live near Wangujing, which is near shopping malls and easy to reach attractions. Well, there are direct bullet trains running bewteen, which take you to Harbin in about eight hours and a quarter.
