About:Beijing Facts

I am packing-- What Should I Pack if I plan to go to Beijing?

Do I exchange my money after I get there or can this be done in the USA? What are some of the things I should bring with me to the city. How about the water, do I have to buy water? What is offered in the hotels as a staple? Do all resturants have only chop sticks? Tell me everything I need to know.

Should pack t-shirt and short for it suns and suncream also. camera needed for amazing shots!! most shops do not take us dollar, but exchange is available at airport beijing. most restaurant have knife and fork but sometimes chopstick so you may be required to buy cutlery. water i took with me in bottle, available to buy, for day but i drink in water from hotel. it is for you to decide if you want to drink from fountains of water in the city but would rather not. rice is staple, as well noodles but i find often they serve american food. you must be prepared to try the cuisine chinese as is wonderful - also lots of vegetable and chicken. beans as well very common. i hope i help with you problem and enjoy your trip

oh sorry i forget that raincoat is often also needed as it sometimes may rain enexpected. please also remember that daysack is very good idea - carry a change of clothes.
