About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

I'm a Canadian living in USA with a Permanent Green Card, moving to China for work 2 yr only

Where can apply for a visa in USA and what type of visa would I get for myself and my Wife who may work also in China.

For work, you need to apply for a Z visa. Please refer to consular district of Chinese embassy and consulates in USA according to the place where you live now. Your wife can apply for a L visa this time. She can change it to a Z once she got a position in China.
