About:Hong Kong Travel

My husband & I will be on vacation, travelling thru HongKong, Feb 5 to 12, and thru Shanghai on

APril 1 to 4. Our trip is pleasure, no business. Do we require a Chinese visa for our short stay in both cities, HongKong and Shanghai? Debbie

You do not need a visa to visit HK for this short trip, but you may need a Chinese Visa to visit Shanghai.

Hi Dora, thank you so much for your response. Really glad to hear I do not require a visa for HongKong. This saves me alot of time. Unfortunately after digging, I have confirmed that Yes, we do need a visa for Shanghai, so lots to do to get this application processed. Thanks for suggesting I check this out.
