About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

I was born in Hong Kong lived and now live in the UK. Can I get a new Smart card?

If so is it possible to obtain from the Chinese Embassy in London or does it have to be done in Hong Kong?

Hi, you'd better contact HK immigration department directly for this. AS I know, in terms of getting the smart id card, you still have your old one. You can get it when you visit HK.
