do I still need to apply for visa if we are going in xiamen and will just stay there for 3-4 days.

we have a roundtrip ticket dated on december 7-10 from cebu pacific. we are just a newly grad and planning to have some tour in china. what if we dont have the bank statement is that really required? thank you
