23 hours and 20 mins layover in Bejing. Need a visa to overnite in a hotel in the airport vicinity?

Greetings! I am a Dutch citizen. My flight itinerary has a layover of 23 hours and 20 mins in Bejing. Do I need a transit VISA to leave the airport to sleep in a nearby hotel?

You can apply for a 24 hour Stay Permit at the airport instead. But better contact your airlines for further confirmation, because they are responsible to check visa or not when board on plane.
