Hong Kong and Xiaman day visits

Cruise ship Sun Princess visits Hong Kong and Xiamen in April 2013 for daylight stop only.
Ship tours are available but will Australian passengers need visa to be ashore for only two or three hours on a guided tour arranged through the ship??
