I understand that I don't need an entry Visa to Hk but are there anything else I need to do?

I want to go to the Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair in September for about a week. I understand that I don't need an entry Visa but are there anything else I need to do, or can I just jump on a plain and go?

I think you must prepare your return air ticket well and have enough funds to cover your duration in Hk. The immigration officers may check that when you enter HK. Your valid passport is also a necessity.
