About:Embassy & Consulate of South Africa in China

I need a statutory letter signed by a notary at the embassy.

My birth certificate is in the archives in Pretoria and I need a declaration from the embassy which will confirm my full name at birth, my birthplace and that I do not have my birth certificate. How do I make an appointment to visit the SA Embassy to complete this document? I live in Beijing and can come to the Embassy any morning this week.

It seems that no appointment is required by the embassy, adn you may just walk into their office during the working hours 09:00 to 12:00 & 13:30 to 16:30 from Monday to Friday. Take your passport with you!
