About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Doucuments for China residence permit

Are there any documents I need to bring to China to obtain a residence permit? Or are they determined locally. How would a Taiwan citizen obtain a Chinese residence permit?
Is this a difficult process?

Chinese Temporary Residence Permit is only issued to Work, Student and Long Stay Journalist visas (Z, X, J-1) holders to China. It is determined locally within 30 days after they enter China.
