About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

US Citizen doing scientific research in Korea for two months interested in 2 week visit to China

Hi!

I don't think I will be given a registration card with 6 months on it when I get to Korea. Does that mean I cannot go to China for a visit (meaning I cannot get a visa)?

Thank you,

Yair

Hello, Yair,
You are still in the USA,right?
Since you said that you could not get a registration card, it would be difficult for you to apply a visa in Korea. You had better apply a single-entry China L visa in US in advance. Since this kind of visa has a three months validity counting from the issuing day, you will be able to enter China after two-month duration in Korea.

Good luck!
