I dont know if i need a 2 day entry visa or multiple entry visa

My cruise ship docks in Xiamen for 1 day then the has a sea day and docks in Shanghai the next day for 1 day.It then travels to Japan and finishes back in Shanghai where we disembark.What kind of visa do I need?
