I am  here in Guangzhou China with tourist visa, I bought a tv and dvd player for my personal use here. My question is, can I bring it home to the Philippines thru check in baggage? What are the documents needed at the airport?

I'm afraid you will have to pay tax to the China Customs. Remember to bring the receipt for buying the tv and dvd with you. You need to fill the declaration form, the receipt of the transport and the export receipt.
