My enquiry is in regards a trip planed from Australia to the Denmark via Guangzhou and Beijin then to Amsterdam/Copenhagen and come back.We will have transite stay of 4 hrs in Guangzhou and 1hrs 30 min in Beijin 14/06/2012 on our way to Danmark and on 18/08/2012 transite stay of 1 hrs 50 min in Beijin and 3 hrs 50 min in Guangzhou on our way back to Australia. According to your trip:
Australia - Guangzhou (4 hours stopover) - Beijing (1 hour 30 minutes) - Amsterdam/Copenhagen

Copenhagen - Beijing (1 hour 50 minutes) - Guangzhou (3 hrs 50 min) - Australia

a transit visa is not required, when you arrive in Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, please apply for a 24 hours stay permit by showing your flight tickets for the first journey, then you do so at the Beijing Capotal International Airport again for the second trip.
