About:China Visa

Is it possible to apply for a Z visa in Hong Kong if I am a British Citizen.

I am currently in China on a tourist visa and have been offered a job here. I am unsure whether I need to return to England to apply for the Z visa or whether I can do it in Hong Kong. Any advice would be very helpful.
Thanks

If the Invitation Letter of A Duly Authorized Unit (previousely called visa notification) is addressed to China embassy or consulate in UK, you have to go to UK to apply for work visa.

You can tell your employer that you want to go to Hong Kong to apply for work visa, when he applies the Invitation Letter of A Duly Authorized Unit for you, he can tell the officer that you want to get the Z visa in Hong Kong.
