Am I entitled to a 72 hour free transit visa?

Hi, I am a British Citizen travelling from Hong Kong to Shanghai for 35 hours.

Kirsty, if you will leave Shanghai for a third country or region within 144 hours, actually you can use the 144hrs free transit policy in Shanghai.
