Do we need a transit visa for stopover 12 hours in Shang Hai?

We are Dutch citizens (with Dutch passports) and going for our vacation to Australia. We have a stopover on Pudong airport in Shang Hai for 12 hours and like to go to the city in this time. Do we need a visa for those 12 hours?

No, you don't need a visa. You can stay in Shanghai up to 48 hours without a visa.
