Thanks for responding, I have italian passport.. I don't have a plane ticket at all because I'm in HK now and planning to go to Shenzhen for some 10 days or more (from here to there i would take the bus or mtr). The reason why I want to make visa at the border is because it's faster, they usually give them in 1hr.. But the Shenzhen visa is only for 5days.. So what if I want to stay longer, is there some kind of entry-exit brearou in Shenzhen where they can extend visa?

Shenzhen visa is good for 5 days only and can not be extended. So if you want to stay longer, you need to apply for a single entry China visa in HK through the Commissioner'Office of China Foreign Ministry in HK. If you need your visa in one day, you can use their rush service for China visa processing.
