i went to the houjie terminal location (next to goumei hotel) to ask about the service

Hello. I went to the Houjie Terminal location (next to Goumei Hotel) to ask about the service going to Shenzhen Airport. They were telling me I CAN NOT take the bus from there to Shenzhen Airport - that I had to buy a airline ticket from them to use the service.I am confused. Is it possible or not possible to get a bus from Houjie area to Shenzhen Airport? Thank you for anyone's help answering my question.

So, you could go to Wanjiang terminal and take a shuttle bus to Shenzhen Airport.
