About:Beijing Capital Airport T2

Can we transit Beijing/Guangzhou enroute to Nepal without visa if we don't leave airports?

We arrive at Terminal 2 from Seattle and have about 20 hours before flight to Kathmandu via Guangzhou. Can we transit Beijing/Guangzhou enroute to Nepal without visa if we don't leave airports? Is there a place to sleep at Terminal 2? Thanks!

Yes, you can stay in the airport without a visa and there is Hourly hotel in T2 which is between the Gate D2 and the Gate D3 at B1 (for foreign passengers).

Thanks for your response Mr. David. Just to be clear, please permit me a follow-up question. Our connecting flight to Kathmandu from Beijing stops in Guangzhou enroute and may involve a change of planes. We would not leave the airport in Guangzhou, but do you think a visa would be required to travel from Beijing to Guangzhou enroute to Kathmandu?
