About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

Hello. I have a 13 hour layover on the way bacl from Australia to SOuth Korea.

1. As a British National, will I have any problems leaving the airport as long as return within 24 hours? My plan is to get a nearby,(ideally walking distance),hotel for the night.

2. Can anyone suggest a decent hotel within walking distance?

Cheers

Yea, it is OK for you to go out of the airport withour a visa for about 48 hours. There are many suitable Shanghai Hotels around the airport. You may consider about Shanghai Airlines Travel Hotel Pudong Airport Branch which is only 2 km (5-min driving distance) from the Pudong International Airport and 1.5 km from airport freight area.
