About:China Embassy in Thailand

Can somebody please enlighten me with these questions:

1. Without showing returning ticket since we'll be road-trip back to Thailand from Beijing down to Shanghai, Macau, & Hongkong then later purchase budgeted AirAsia ticket in HK to BKK... would we be granted L-visa in Bangkok? (2 Indonesians & 1 Thai).

2. Which one would be the best option: a future student in Beijing applying for F-Visa by himself/herself in China embassy Bkk, OR future student in Beijing applying for L-Visa (tourist visa) and later the school liaison officers would help to change the L-visa into F-visa in Beijing.

Thank you for any answers.

No, Mr.Arf, You are required to apply for a visa to China at Chinese Visa Application Service Center (CVASC)in Indonesia, Chinese embassy in Thailand does not accept visa applications from temporary visitors, and the center does not require the return ticket.
If he needs to study in Beijing for less than 6 months, then, to apply for an F visa directly is better.
