I'm going to Xi'an this coming mid April. It is a good timing to go. from the above weather estimation, it seem like quite good huh! I want to go there and see the Peony, heard that this is China National Flower and it will only open once a year. it is true??

Yes, it is our national flower and open once a year. But some species can open twice a year. Florescence during April and May. However, Peony in Luoyang is much more famous and the Peony Flower Festival is held in Luoyang every April. Luoyang is not far from Xian.
