I'm planning to visit OCT East and Window of the World, and i saw from the above comments that City Inn (window of the world) is a good place to stay for it is in close proximity with both places. however, i would also like to take the chance to shop during the trip, are there any shopping districts near city inn?:) thanks!

It's not close to Shenzhen Commercial center, Dongmen Walking Street. But there are shopping places around it, i.e.Chongshang Market (崇尚百货），Haiya Market （海雅百货）.
